Handcrafted Ritual Wands At By Leaf& Wand, I only use offered woods found locally in the northeast Florida woodlands to craft these beautiful wands. I will never cut wood from a tree. Local woods include Red Maple, Laurel Oak, Live Oak, Pine, Magnolia, and others. I carefully inspect each piece to ensure there is no rot or insect damage and that it has a natural character that calls to my creative muse. The natural elements of the wood are left intact as much as possible. Knots, twists and curves are worked and enhanced, leaving each wand completely unique in shape and size. I use no chemicals in treating the wood, only oil to prevent the wood from drying out. Though many pagan traditions call for certain length wands, nature determines the length and width of all my wands. I do not consecrate or bless these wands, as they are not my wands and my energies and magic are not for sale. I am only the temporary keeper of these wands until they find their true owners. I will smudge them just before shipping to remove any residual energies. Once you receive your wand, you will have a blank slate to work with. Be sure to cleanse and consecrate your wand as soon as you get it! Each wand gets a cotton muslin bag custom made once the wand is finished. I make the bags large enough to accommodate any insulator wrapping you may want to do, such as silk. Additionally, you may want to customize your wand with crystals or stones, so the bags are large enough to allow your wand to fit in the bag after any changes are made.
